Lead Pastor
Pastor Mike is an anointed preacher, teacher and leader. As a recipient of God’s grace, Mike is passionate about “sowing grace” and helping people mature into their God-ordained destiny. An avid learner, Pastor Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Christian Education and two master's degrees in leadership. He is also highly active within the Assemblies of God MN District, serving as Presbyter of the SE Section, Board Member and Instructor for the MN School of Ministry and is a member of the MN Men’s Ministry advisory team. He and his wife, Heidi, have been married since 1999. They have 3 young adult children and 1 high school age child.
Jorden Johnson
Executive Pastor
Pastor Jorden is known for his huge heart for reaching people with the message of the Gospel, his love for sharing God’s word, his servant attitude, and his multifaceted abilities in drama and theatrical production. He has graduated from North Central University with a degree in Intercultural Studies. Jorden and his wife, Bri, together have two sons.

Community & Engagement Pastor
Pastor Rachelle loves to connect people to each other and to a God who is always faithful. She loves seeing Jesus transform lives through teaching, preaching and training. Rachelle and her husband, Bob, have 3 sons.
Joshua Kackley
Young Adults Pastor
Joshua has a bachelor’s degree in biblical theology and pastoral ministry. He has a passion to see people come into a deep and real relationship with Jesus. Josh and Robyn are an incredible gift to our young adults community. If you are looking for ways to get connected and serve here at Rochester Assembly Pastor Josh would love to connect with you! He has been married to his wife, Robyn, for 3 years now. They both love coffee, food and traveling!
Tyler Grant
Seniors Pastor
Pastor Tyler desires to help people live wholehearted daily lives. He endeavors to help senior adults live from a place of love, know they are loved by God, and use this knowledge to put love into daily action towards others. He has a passion to help others be who God created them to be, encouraging them to be comfortable in their own skin as an expression of who God has called them to be. Pastor Tyler and his wife Melodee have two adult sons and two grandchildren.
Caleb Simerson
Students Pastor
Pastor Caleb was called into the ministry at the age of 17 and has developed a passion to love the next generation and preach the good news of the gospel message. He grew up in Austin, Minnesota, where he met and married his wife, Alysa. Caleb studied at Global University and is now a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God.
Tim Shurley
Kids Pastor
Pastor Tim has a passion to see children and their families come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! His high-octane ministry style engages and entertains kids, while clearly presenting the gospel message at their level of understanding. Tim and his wife Jill have been married for 15 years, and have three sons.
Kelli Smith
Littles Coordinator
Kelli has a heart for children and serving. She is purposeful about bringing rich gospel truths into our littles lives through scripture memory, prayer, and activities. Kelli and her husband Andy have four children.
Mark Johnson
Facilities Director
Mark considers it an honor to take care of our facility, which is a little over 88,000 square feet in size, as we strive to provide a place that people can come to know and grow in their walk with Jesus. He and his wife, Julie, have been married 35+ years and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Sara Rudquist
Financial Administrator
Sara has served as the Financial Administrator since March of 2012. She and her husband, Rick, are proud parents to 4 young adult sons. The Rudquists have served as Chi Alpha Missionaries, pastors, and in other ministry capacities across the country prior to their move to Rochester in 2010.
Sherrie Walker
Office Administrator
Sherrie has served as the Office Administrator since 2001. Sherrie has been a central part of the Rochester Assembly ministry team and the office experience. She is married to her husband, Dave, and they are very proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to five grandchildren.
